About Us
Seattle Goodwill is a private, non-profit organization that has been serving our Puget Sound communities since 1923. Our comprehensive Job Training and Education programs help individuals experiencing significant barriers to economic opportunity to realize their education and employment goals.
A significant portion of the operating funds for our programs comes from sales made in our thrift stores. Merchandise for our stores comes from generous donations of used and new items from the public. These donations are critical to our mission. By donating and shopping at one of our stores, our supporters are also participating in one of the largest recycling operations in our region. These efforts result in conservation of resources and an improved environment.
