Established in 1990, our parent company X-Press Digital has provided a wide range of digital publishing solutions to clients in the UK, America and France - search engine optimisation was not a priority at this time.
1995 saw the launch of the website design division of the company with it's focus squarely on the visual appearance of websites, embracing both JavaScript and Macromedia Flash technology.
By 1997, clients were concerned about the lack of traffic to their websites - and in response X-Press began a programme of research into the way that the major search engines rank sites. The seeds of SES were sown.
