- Thank you for visiting Sea2Sky and taking some time to read about us. Like many of you, our staff is comprised of people who own vacation rentals and are constantly looking for ways to improve all aspects involved in managing properties. One of the most important aspects in making a vacation rental successful is keeping it on the positive side of cash flow, or at least close to it. With all of the expenses involved with a property, we sought out to find the most cost-effective ways to advertise. We have tried most methods of advertising ourselves: newspapers, web, flyers, friends and family, etc. We have found the web to be by far the most cost-effective way to advertise, and an easy way to reach thousands of interested renters. So, we created our own website, listed our property on other websites, and worked with some different property managers. Some sites worked pretty well and some didn't. We all agreed there could be some improvements made. Some sites were too expensive, some didn't deliver results, and others were difficult to navigate through.
