Sevier County is located in the heart of one of the most scenic places on earth midway between Los Angeles and Denver. Just a few hours away are seven national parks: Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, Great Basin, Capitol Reef, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Part of Sevier's Cathederal Valley lies in Capitol Reef National Park. The Indians called it the "Land of the Sleeping Rainbow." Sevier County has over 50,000 acres of cropland.
