"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."(Jeremiah 29:11)This passage is popular for encouraging people that the LORD will bless them somehow. But it recently struck me that these "plans" are exactly what we are called to conform our own plans to.This is the very definition of love: "plans to prosper and not to harm you". As Paul says, "love does no harm to its neighbor".
