Description

Excerpted from the website:

I retired from the Telecommunications field in Feb. of 2000. For years, I had felt the call to work for the Lord, but felt inadequate. So I took some courses at a junior college in Fort Brag, CA. for a couple of years. In the summer of 2004, we went to Missouri for a family reunion. While there, we checked out Ozark Christian College (OCC) and the surrounding area. Returned home in early July and by Oct. 15th, we had sold our house and all our furniture, rented a U-haul, sold one car, packed up my mother-in-law and were on the road to Missouri. In mid January, I enrolled full time at OCC. Kandi says it was the easiest move she ever made. I have been on several mission trips since enrolling at OCC. I went to Zacatecas, Mex., Moldova, and Costa Rica. In the summer of 2006, Kandi, and I went to Barbados on a 6 weeks mission trip. I had been there some 40 years previously to build churches. Some of which were still standing. Prior to our move we had also gone to Juarez, Mex., with Casas Por Cristo, to build a house and to a migrant farm camp in King City, CA to teach VBS. I have now graduated from OCC with a BA in Cross Cultural Ministry and Christian Ministry and a Certificate of Bible Literature.
