Scleroderma World
Description
Syl lived in Gallup, New Mexico. She was diagnosed with SD in 1997. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Bill and two sons, Jason and Matthew. Her passion was crafts. She loved beading, working with polymer clay, crocheting and making ornaments for the Christmas tree! The last couple of years they grew a vegetable garden and loved every minute of it.
In December 1998, three women, Syl, Judy, and Lynn, decided they wanted a friendly, happy place where people with scleroderma and other autoimmune diseases could come together and talk about the problems we all have living with scleroderma. Syl was here almost every day, doing whatever she could to help others. She had a wonderful sense of humor and shared so many funny stories with us. One night we were left in stitches because she had written the funniest eulogy I have ever heard. She was the kindest person I have ever known and will be terribly missed.
If you would like to read Syl's story, you can find here, it at My Story. Her story is also here on the Scleroderma From A to Z site.
