SD Marine Ltd are sole agents for supplying the Swedish built Maxi sailing yachts. We have had a very good relationship with Nimbus Maxi, Nimbus being the parent company who have for many years have produced the Nimbus power boat range. They took over Maxi Yachts with a view to improving the line of sailing yachts and we now have a great range for you to see -
All have been designed by Pelle Petterson, the Olympic champion. Pelle has always had an eye for style linked with performance; both for the racing scene and family cruising with its superb accommodation, layout and styling. Nimbus Maxi also pride themselves on using the latest hi-tech equipment and polyesters within the construction of their boats, thus achieving the high quality finish on the GRP and the interior woodwork etc. The factory, located in Visby on the island of Gotland is a very modern factory where some 400 boats are built each year. Factory visits can be arranged so that you may see your boat in build in Sweden.
