- The SDHSAA Board of Directors formally approved the addition of Competitive Cheer and Competitive Dace to the list of SDHSAA sanctioned sports. The guidelines for each of the sports are available here, Cheer Guidelines & Dance Guidelines. Both programs will begin next school year (2007-08). Both are fall activities with the state championships to be held November 10, 2007. See the guidelines for complete dates, regulations, etc.
