I always knew I wanted to be a writer. When I turned sixteen, I begged my parents to take me on a trip to Los Angeles. While visiting a soundstage at Universal Studios, I announced that someday I would return to Hollywood as a writer. Thirteen years later, I sold my first script -- an episode of “Charles In Charge” to Universal.
My writing career now spans two decades. I have worked for four major Hollywood Studios (Universal, Columbia, Warner Brothers, Paramount) and three networks (NBC, ABC, FOX). While most professional writers tend to write either film or television, and then either comedy or drama, I have had the good fortune to sell scripts in all arenas. Thus, I know how to set-up a joke and pay it off. Likewise, I know how to bring an audience to tears.
After spending eleven years of working at Hollywood studios, I realized I had made enough contacts and connections that I could leave Los Angles and continue to write from some place that was more scenic and tranquil. I chose a small and picturesque New England town by the sea.
