ScriptMate was founded in August 2000. We develop all types of applications that use database and use large amounts of dynamic data. These include Ecommerce, Jobs & Recruitment, Financial, Search, Usermanagement and related applications.
Our primary speciality is developing dynamic websites using Microsoft's ASP. ASP pages are similar to standard HTML documents but have sections of program code embedded within them. This active code is run by the server and the resulting HTML is sent to the browser. This means we can get a web page to search a database in response to keywords or options selected, find suitable matches, sort them into the correct order and then format an HTML page to display them. The active code can do a host of things in addition to pulling records from databases - it can also add user input into a database, process information, make calculations, send email, plant cookies and more.
Even for sites that are predominantly static in nature, ASP allows us to build page templates based on 'include' files. When an extra page or section is added, the menu can be updated on one file and the new link will appear across the site. This is essential for any site where easy maintenance and expandability is required.
