Description
Cited on theknot.com (premier wedding portal) and in City Wedding by Joan Hamburg (2000 and 2003). Listed as a Best Bet in Metro Weddings New York Magazine(2002, 2003 and 2004). Place cards and menu are shown in Martha Stewart Weddings, Spring 2004.My work was featured in InStyle Weddings (January, 2002) in Name Game: Alternative Place Cards and in A Bride's Guide to Simple Calligraphy (2001).
Test all paper stock to be written on with a fountain pen BEFORE purchasing; some papers bleed and feather (little bits come up with the pen). I repeat this endlessly due to having to refuse work because the paper CANNOT be written on with wet media. Unless you really want your envelopes addressed with a gel pen, try before you buy!
Consider your mailing list when choosing size of envelope/invitation as well as style of lettering. For example, if your list contains many lengthy names (Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Michael Harrington-Adams, Jr.), an oblong envelope may be better suited than a square one. A flourished lettering style shows up better on a larger envelope than a smaller one.
