My name is Steve Adams and I established Screentech Business Services in Macclesfield in 1997 with the express aim of supporting small and medium sized companies in the area. Prior to this I was employed in computer training company helping companies and their employees keep up to date with the rapid introduction of new technologies and software systems. I also maintained the network and computers and servers repairing, Building also installing new software and updates at six offices in Cheshire / Staffordshire.
My experience with these companies made me realise that it was relatively easy to teach staff word processing and spreadsheet skills, but teaching them what to do when the hardware system crashed was altogether different. The acquisition of computer systems, networks and peripherals was another area where help was required. I established Screentech Business Services to bridge this gap.
Here at Screentech we support and maintain many local businesses when problems arise. We will advise and build new systems as well as investigating and repairing faults on existing systems. We help on a daily basis by offering service contracts which include remote online monitoring, just to make sure everything runs as it should. We also make sure that our clients are aware of any new innovations or technologies which will improve the way they operate and to help them become more efficient.
