Scottish Recovery Network - Working to promote and support recovery from long term mental health problems in Scotland
Description
Over the space of two years a number of events and workshops were held which investigated promoting and supporting recovery from long-term mental health problems in Scotland. As a result of this, a group of agencies collaborated and designed a detailed proposal to formally establish the Scottish Recovery Network as a vehicle for learning and sharing ideas around recovery.
The Network itself is comprisesed of a loose affiliation of organisations and individuals, from varied backgrounds, who all share an interest in efforts to promote recovery.
Raise awareness that people can and do recover from long term and serious mental health problems, and of what recovery might mean for people.
