Description
Osborne Samuel LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) is a new partnership formed in July 2004 between Peter Osborne’s Berkeley Square Gallery and Scolar Fine Art/Gordon Samuel. The two former companies have closely collaborated over the past five years, principally on the annual exhibitions of 20th Century British Art.
Osborne Samuel LLP operates from the existing Berkeley Square premises at 23a Bruton Street, London in the heart of London’s Mayfair district, between Bond Street and Berkeley Square.
The new partnership will incorporate the best aspects of both the former galleries and continue to have a strong emphasis in modern and contemporary sculpture, in particular the work of Henry Moore and Lynn Chadwick. The gallery will further strengthen its dealings in Modern British art that began with the joint exhibitions, with works by Auerbach, Aitchison, Burra, the post war abstraction of Pasmore, Heath, Frost, Hilton, Lanyon; the neo-romanticism of Sutherland, Vaughan, Craxton and Clough to name but a few. A current list of works available can be seen by clicking the Artists button.
