Description
South Carolina’s three research universities: the Medical University of South Carolina, Clemson University, and the University of South Carolina have joined forces with the South Carolina Research Authority to develop the South Carolina Nutrition Research Consortium. Together we are better able to pursue nutrition research by leveraging statewide physical and intellectual resources.
Foster innovative research in nutrition and its effects on human health, launch outreach programs to promote good nutrition and disease prevention, and attract large scale research grants by leveraging resources.
Plan an inter-institutional program of national recognition that will enhance the research productivities of the three universities in the area of human nutrition and disease prevention;
