Scientio LLC is a research organization, specializing in creating software with a strong Artificial Intelligence and Mathematical bias, reflecting the interests and skills of its founder, Dr Andrew N Edmonds.
Scientio is 'research lead' rather than 'marketing lead'. As such it attempts to make leaps into new territory and new products as new ideas occur, rather than taking the incremental approach to product development that is common in the rest of the industry. While any student of marketing would tell you that this is the highest risk path to take, our strengths are in innovative software design and invention, and it would be a greater risk not to play to our strengths.
In some ways we could be compared to a university computer science research department. The difference is that we are only indirectly concerned with pure research. Our interest is in producing innovative products that are well engineered, robust in their operation and immediately usable by our customers.
