Our 4000 square foot retail store is near Albany NY and our primary products are telescopes, microscopes, radio controlled trucks, metal detectors, scales, rock tumblers, plastic models, and science products. We also operate a large internet business and ship items anywhere in the US. Science and Hobby is one of the larger Meade telescope dealers in the US, and we keep in stock nearly every Meade telescope and accessory. We also carry Celestron and JMI telescope products. We have been in business for about 15 years.
Orders can be placed online through the website (scienceandhobby.com), by phone (800 763 3212), by email (mannhome1@aol.com), or via paypal.com. There is no sales tax on orders shipped outside of NY state. We normally ship orders within 24 hours, and use UPS ground for most shipments. UPS 3 day, 2 day, and next day services are also available, and can be selected on the checkout page for an internet order. We only ship by the US Post Office upon request. We have very low shipping rates, and free shipping on many items. We accept US orders only. We accept APO and FPO orders if under 25 pounds.
