Description
The schoolswebdirectory was first published on the web in 1996 under the SchoolNet UK banner. Later it became part of BT's Campus World website, and then part of Anglia Multimedia's AngliaCampus.
I have been following the development of schools websites since 1996 and as probably the only person to have visited nearly 12,000 of the websites listed herein.
It is disappointing to note that over this 6 year period, some large secondary schools have still not managed to get a useful website up and running; and thousands of primary schools have not either. Pupils notice this and set up their own alternative and alumni sites.
