Meet Zimbabwe's Young Scholars
Description
In June of 1997, David Moricca and Eric Farmer made the first of two trips to Zimbabwe to produce Meet Zimbabwe's Young Scholars (1998), an educational video on six teenagers who have overcome huge obstacles to acquire their education and have received a scholarship that allows them to finish their secondary education at various schools within Zimbabwe. Without financial assistance, these students may have been unable to complete their education.
Learn some of the history of these scholars, who are now pursuing careers and higher education worldwide. Learn of the dreams, struggles, and successes that have propelled them into their futures. We hope that the scholars' stories can inspire others to better value their educational opportunities.
