In honor and celebration of Earth Day, SBNP has joined with Fanno Creek Clinic for a unique Earth Day promotion. The aim is to cut energy consumption for individuals and for the city of Portland while getting people used to using compact flourescent lightbulbs (CFLs). Clearly, increased energy efficiency will result in decreased carbon output and hence less contribution to global warming.
