I began my career in the sixties, playing rock, jazz and blues saxophone. I'm still doing it. But these days I spend as much time composing, recording and arranging music for sax as I do playing it. In between, I write music technology books and articles for Music Tech Magazine.
Joined period jazz orchestra Pasadena Roof Orchestra on a full time basis. Work involved extensive world wide touring - concerts - jazz clubs and galas. TV and radio etc. Recorded 8 CDs.
Began arranging for the orchestra - over eighty scores in the PRO repertoire, on record and used for broadcasts. Arranged music for German TV drama Lowengrube and German film Rosamund.
