On September 1st, 2006, Disney made a move that would signal the end of the W.I.T.C.H. animated series. On that day they moved all JETIX shows off of ABC Family to be shown exclusively on Toon Disney. This mid-season move left many fans in the dark, as Toon Disney is in half as many households as ABC Family channel.
