SATdsl is a provider of satellite communication solutions for the entire Central and Eastern European region, and beyond. The company was formed in 2002 as a business unit within AstraCom Technologies to meet the growing demand for broadband Internet access and corporate communication services. Due to limitations of the terrestrial infrastructure in the many countries where we operate, this demand must be met by satellite-based solutions.
Our customers are private persons arround the whole region, small companies, hotels, quest houses but also corporates as for example gas stations Shell. So far we deliver services to over 800 different sites.
Broadly speaking, SATdsl offers two types of satellite solutions. The first is based on HughesNet service, which provides ADSL-like Internet access via satellite. We are now their leading reseller in Central Europe, with customers in more than 12 countries.
