Ok, you have compiled a small program, booted the machine and printed something on the screen. Let's reflect a bit on what just happened. As I said in the introduction, Sartoris doesn't do much, and most things are up to the operating system running atop the microkernel. That includes loading programs and multiplexing (i.e. time-sharing) the processor amogst their many threads.
