Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health (SARRAH) is nationally recognised as a peak body representing rural and remote allied health professionals. SARRAH is a 'grassroots' organisation whose membership consists of individual allied health professionals across rural and remote Australia.
Scholarships
SARRAH has been contracted by the Department of Health and Ageing to administer two scholarship programs for allied health professionals – the Rural Allied Health Undergraduate Scholarship (RAHUS) Scheme and the Australian Rural and Remote Health Professional Scholarship Scheme (ARRHPSS).
Indigenous Diabetic Foot Project
The SARRAH Indigenous Diabetic Foot [IDF] Program has developed a training package and resources for the management of diabetic feet. These resources and training are now available. The program was developed as a result of funding received from the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing under the Rural Health Education Support and Training (RHSET) scheme.
