Description
Sarah was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and is a fourth-generation Central Texan. The daughter of photographers, she became interested in photography at an early age. For the past 10 years Sarah has developed her own film and papers, and hand colored photos. She has lived in Austin, Manhattan, and currently lives in Brooklyn.
Sarah prefers black and white photography over color and most of her work is done in black and white. Her photography concentrates on form and shadow. She also hand colors photos, using translucent oil paints over a black and white print.
