- Mike's family was in the livestock business full time for over 30 years. After graduating from and playing varsity football at Texas State University, he ran an offshore fishing business in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. Mike was President of Safari Club International (SCI) in Austin, Texas in 2003. Mike has hunted and fished throughout the world. Mike personally attends and guides a number of the whitetail hunts booked at San Miguel. Mike shares his passion with his wife, Holly Mills-Gardner and son, Hudson Michael Gardner.
