- We run S&S Guide Service as a husband and wife fishing team. We currently live in Alturas, CA although most of our summer is spent at Eagle Lake at the Spaulding Resort. We have been fishing together at Eagle Lake since 1989. Steve is licensed by the Department of Fish and Game. We are involved in Project Eagle Lake Trout which helps to keep the lake full of fish. Through the years we have learned a lot about the lake and a variety of fishing techniques. We are available for fishing starting opening weekend and throughout the fishing season, weather permitting. We have had many enjoyable fishing experiences at Eagle Lake and we look forward to providing many years of services to all those who want a truly enjoyable fishing experience at Eagle Lake.
