Informant says some newer U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) maps have mistakenly transposed San Juan Canyon and Navajo Canyon (next to it). The local cowboys have formally confirmed to him, the correct location of San Juan Canyon, but not that of Navajo Canyon. (US-I001/060288/MSS Curator/USHS).
