- The Soccer Association of Montgomery (SAM) was established in 2005 by the Maryland Soccer Foundation, the owner/operator of the 19-field Maryland SoccerPlex. SAM provides superior developmental and educational soccer programs for Montgomery County youth. Programs include Pre-Kicks (ages 3-5), Kickers (ages 6-8), a Recreational League (U7-U14) and the Challenge League (U9-U17).
