Pat gained valuable experience while working as a Senior Tax Auditor for the State Board of Equalization. Pat has given numerous sales tax seminars for the California Society of CPA’s; Association of Accountants; Grossmont Tax Institute; and the San Diego Tax Institute at the University of San Diego. A former author for Matthew Bender, Pat currently authors monthly sales and use tax articles for the Spidell Newsletter.
Stephen M. Stafford, CPA - Stephen has successfully worked in the multistate sales and use tax field for over 18 years. Starting out as a sales and use tax auditor with the State Board of Equalization, he later became a partner with the CPA firm of O'Brien and Stafford. During this time, he specialized in and gained wide experience in all areas of multistate sales and use tax.
