St. Bartholomew is a Roman Catholic parish located on the southeast side of Louisville near General Electric's Appliance Park. The first mass was held on October 11, 1942 in the basement of the old rectory. In this simple, quiet way the story of our parish began. During the 66 years that have passed since that first Liturgy, our parish has grown in many ways and our history is a rich one.
