Cruises are sponsored by The Sailing Heritage Society, a non-profit organization providing "sailing trips on the healing seas" for local patients. All revenue over trip expenses is applied directly to the mission. The Schooner Mallory Todd, is provided to the Sailing Heritage Society by long time local philanthropist, Captain George Todd.
George started Sailing Heritage Society as a way to give back to the community. Schooner Mallory Todd has a long-term reputation for training youth and contributing to worthwhile causes. Sailing Heritage Society provides no-cost cruises on Mallory for seriously ill patients and their families - and provides low-cost fundraising cruises for nonprofits when Mallory is not chartering commercially to cover her own expenses.
All charter fees support our non-profit arm The Sailing Heritage Society, whose mission is Brightening the lives of ill children and adults with no-cost sailing trips on the healing seas. You can read more about The Sailing Heritage Society at the website: www.sailingheritage.org
