Green China Study Tour & Internship Program

Mission
To “grow” global green leaders who have the knowledge and skills to support (radical) innovation for the greater good
Objectives
- Learn about the cutting edge of sustainable (“green”) practices in China
- Learn key global leadership soft skills for the future
- intercultural competency
- peer coaching
- effective global virtual team leadership and “followership”
- complex problem-solving dialogue process for leveraging group genius
- Practice skills within an organizational and global team context
Program Highlights
- China orientation training (for foreign students)
- Professional training in global leadership soft skills (see above)
- Green Study Tour to visit local “Green Leader” organizations to learn:
- historical and recent developments in their specific industry
- sustainable practices & how they are implementing them
- current challenges and how they are addressing these
- Internship at a Green Leader organization.
- hands-on work experience in China
- experiential global virtual team project
- individual and group reflection to “leverage group genius”
- report for sponsor organization with ideas for furthering their “triple bottom line”
