BILL SAFKA and ARBE BAREIS have been collecting autographs for 30 and 20 years respectively. In 1984, they established their own firm, offering their knowledge, expertise, and quality materials to collectors. They have contributed chapters for two editions of the Sander's PriceGuide to Autographs, and have supplied photographs for the following books: The Rise and Fall of Theda Bara by Eve Golden, SaturdayAfternoons at the Met by Paul Jackson, Through my Monocle by Andres de Segurola, and Rosa Ponselle: A Singer's Life by James Drake. In addition, they have furnished photos for such compact disc labels as Eclipse, Walhall, VAI, Nimbus, and Legato. BILL SAFKA and ARBE BAREIS travel extensively in Europe and the United States acquiring and selling autographs at Antiquarian book fairs, autograph shows, and movie fairs in such cities as London, Paris, New York, Chicago, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, San Francisco, Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles. They offer an extensive inventory of signed and unsigned photos by Nadar, Reutlinger, Falk, Sarony, Dupont, Hurrell, Bull, Willinger, Richee, and Ruth Harriett Louise, and issue monthly catalogues of materials in all categories with an emphasis on the performing arts.
