Who is Saferworld?
Saferworld is an independent non-governmental organisation that works to prevent armed violence and create safer communities in which people can lead peaceful and rewarding lives.
Saferworld believes in working with others to achieve common objectives. Our aim is to empower local partners with the skills to become more effective and sustainable. We develop and carry out programmes with a range of governments and international, regional, national and local organisations.
In May 2006, Saferworld and local partner FIQ organised an event in Germova, Kosovo, to celebrate the completion of the first ever 'Safer Community Plan' in Kosovo.
