- Electroform anything in copper! Work over wax, plastic, glass or ceramics. Plate over existing ceramic containers, glass tops from tables, the possibilities are endless. All you need is our water based paint. Your only limitation to making large scale copper forms is the size of your bath. Electroforming is like having your own foundry. Some of the copper forms to the left are several square feet in area. They were made over wax forms that were later melted out and recycled. Electroforming is a great process no question about it. Most schools that include plating in their Metals department have switched to our safe water based paint. Glass artists (Kate Fowle), glass workers, ceramists, jewelers, and sculptors prefer our paint to the solvent-based material.

The Royal College of Art UK, Appalachian Center for the Crafts, Pratt Fine Art Center, Kent State University, University of Kansas, the Washington Glass School, University of Wisconsin, the list goes on. However if you are a metalworker, or ceramist, glass blower or sculptor, a plating system might be a great investment in developing new work as well as speeding up your production. Electroforming and plating are far less expensive then a foundry, a lot safer and offer choices a foundry cannot.
