Our main focus at Saddleback Dermatology & Laser Center is the surgical and medical treatment of skin disease. All of the associated physicians are board certified and between them have decades of clinical experience performing thousands of surgical procedures on the skin. In addition to private practice, they have teaching positions as Clinical Professors at the University of California in Irvine. Through training, experience, academic associations, fellowships and leadership positions in professional societies, we strive to deliver state of the art dermatologic care.
As you are probably aware, dermatologists specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of problems related to skin, hair and nails. At Saddleback Dermatology & Laser Center, we have special interest and expertise in the treatment of skin cancer and are one of the few centers in Orange County offering Mohs micrographic surgery. This is the most advanced method of skin cancer removal resulting in higher cure rates with the least amount of tissue removal. Our office is certified by the Federal Health Care Administration as a high complexity laboratory which is required to perform the surgery and interpret the pathological material related to the procedure.
You may not be aware, however, of the many cosmetic and ancillary services available here which are best suited to dermatologists and professionals working under their supervision. Rejuvenating procedures such as skin peels, glycolic and fruit acid application, wrinkle removal with collagen and Botox (Botox and Botox Cosmetic are trademarks owned by Allergan, Inc.) and sclerotherapy (removal of spider veins on the leg) are available here. We also offer permanent laser hair reduction and other laser therapies including removal of age spots, blood vessels, birthmarks, tattoos and laser resurfacing procedures which have revolutionized the treatment of aging and sun damaged skin.
