I have always been interested in self sufficiency, environmental issues and ways to integrate human needs into existing ecosystems. During the early 1980's I was active in environmental and the self sufficiency issues. By the late 1980s it had become apparent that neither I nor the other participants in these organizations had the skills or the resources to make any difference in the way business is conducted in the global economy. At that time, I decided that I would concentrate on earning enough money to raise and educate my two children and to give me the flexibility to pursue my interests in a meaningful way.
It is now 2003. My children are in college, the funding for their education has been arranged and I have learned alot about working relationships between people, designing productive systems, setting and accomplishing goals, marketing and numerous other aspects of running a business. Working with Homeowners Associations, I have developed an intimate knowledge of grass roots democracy. I have continued to follow developments in the variety of fields that interest me including, environmentally friendly technologies, the physical sciences, and world developments. I now have the flexibility to pursue my interests. This Web Site reflects those interests to the best of my ability.
