Our company INFOMED started in 1999; launched RxPinoy, a website with Doctor Finder services, and directories of various entities in Philippine health industry. Some experts estimate that as many as 4.0 million Filipinos are now online, and this is borne out by a steady increase of visitors to the RxPinoy website, which now averages 0.9 million hits monthly, and is syndicated on the websites of Yehey and Infocom.
RxPinoy has since grown into the first online community of doctors and dentists in the Philippines, serving to connect various sectors within the health industry. At INFOMED, our mission is to combine current and emerging technologies to bring together healthcare providers, institutions, and consumers, in efficient, productive and innovative ways. To this end, we undertake a number of projects, in several platforms:
We published the first print edition of the RxPinoy Health Directory™, which is packed with practical health information and thousands of useful directory entries. The 2004-05 edition ,now renamed RxPinoy Health Dirgest™ has a new Beauty, Fitness & Wellness ( BFW) section, plus custom publications that are primarily distributed to health consumers and doctors clinics.The next edition 2005-06 is due for release last Quarter of 2005 with a new section for Medical Tourism.
