Description
My name is Rene Guay. My wife Betsy, my son Brad, my daughter-in-law Lindsey, our two beautiful grandsons, our five Newfoundlands, and our Wolf live in the Mountains of Western Maine.
We have lived in this heaven all of our lives, as we would have it no other way. Our two homes and Our shop, (Alder Brook) sit in what is named "The Moose River Valley".
The Moose population here exceeds the people, and it is a common day to see moose in my backyard, or several of them traveling to the nearest town of Jackman. My day starts by heading into the woods(after I feed my Newfies and Wolf) to find and collect what mother nature will lend to me to make a piece of furniture, or to collect pieces of a dead tree to supply the wood turner, and other woodcrafts persons. On weekends it is a family affair searching for materials in the woods, including, my three year old, and ten month old grandsons.
