Ruislip Lions Club
Description
Lions Clubs are affiliated to other Lions clubs around the country but we fund raise around the Ruislip area almost exclusively for local charities. We ourselves are a Registered Charity.
The club meets as a full committee on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at Ruislip Golf Club when all available members attending. To make organising events and activities easier, various sub-committees draw up plans and vet requests for assistance.
Fund Raising Committee – Hires accommodation, transport etc and organises appropriate manpower to run events. These include local Lions Club Fun Days and the Ruislip annual Medieval Festival.
