RugbyPlayer.Net has been initiated because we have over the last five years, through our own contacts, been sourcing and supplying rugby players to clubs overseas and have been approached many times by coaches and players alike to find a club for them. Looking into this further we wondered if there could be an easier way of doing this, but on a global scale. The Internet provides the perfect medium to achieve this.
The world contains tens of thousands of clubs and millions of people involved with the sport of rugby and we believe that there is an overwhelming need to develop a service to help those who wish to travel and enjoy the adventure that rugby can be. It’s played throughout the world and no matter where you go or do you will always have friends and people that you have something in common with.
The movement of players overseas (except at the elite level) has always been either by word of mouth or by someone knowing someone else at some club over there and the contact made between players and clubs has been base on more to do with good luck than with good management. At RugbyPlayer.Net our aim is to standardise this with a more professional and efficient approach, not only for players and clubs but also for those who coach as well. So now the world of rugby is yours to explore and enjoy.
