RUCUS, the Rhodes University Computers Users Society, is a student society targeted at Rhodes University students who are interested in computers and the Internet.
RUCUS was formed primarily to provide interested students with a computer on which to do things, and has progressed from a Computer Science-oriented society to a computer-based service provider, catering for students of all types.
RUCUS provides various workshops to teach interested members a wide range of computer skills, from beginner levels to highly specialised and advanced subjects. It also provides a development platform for its users.
