Ruberyvillage.co.uk is a news and information website providing a free service to the people of Rubery, a village in Bromsgrove, in Worcestershire. The site is run by a team of 11 people, including a 3-person-strong photography team who support the 5 reporters and 2 editors. The site started as a project for Nic in August 2001, and has gone from strength to strength. Our web server's statistics now say we're getting an average of 200,000 hits a year and we have recently moved into a commercial market: selling adverts through our partner Desigz.
