RPMTurbo is an engineering consultancy that specializes in linear flow analysis. RPMTurbo has developed highly advanced and efficient flow solvers (linear and non-linear) that it employs to perform flow analysis. RPMTurbo is committed to the following goals:
Dr. Paul Petrie-Repar - Co-Founder and Director
Paul has experience in developing CFD methods and applying them to industrial applications. Paul worked for the Institute of Aeroelasticity at DLR (German Aerospace Centre) from 1999 to 2004. Here Paul developed a highly efficient two-dimensional linearized Navier-Stokes flow solver that solves the full 2D linearized Navier-Stokes equations for a mesh with 20,000 cells in one minute on a personal computer. While working at DLR, Paul completed contract work for industry and his linearized solver is still currently used in industry. Paul worked for Sigra from 1997 to 1999 and obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Queensland in 1998.
Mr. Andrew McGhee - Co-Founder and Director
Andrew has experience in developing CFD methods and high-performance computing. In 1995, Andrew built one of Australia's first and most powerful parallel computing clusters at the University of Queensland. Andrew also worked as a CFD developer at the California Institue of Technology in 1998. Recently, Andrew worked for the Netdecisions business consultancy group in London, from 1999 to 2005, working with clients ranging from HP, Barclaycard, Centrica, Cendant, Marconi, Fluency and Virgin Atlantic.
