In 1929 Royce was founded to manufacture chemicals for textile industry in a plant in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Our first products were Sodium Hydrosulfite, Sodium Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate and Zinc Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate.
In 2004, 75 years later, we are still supplying the products which formed the foundation of our company. But Royce of today is an international company with alliances and offices in several locations around this world.
The Royce Chemical Company was founded by Albert J. Royce, Sr. as a Textile Chemical Manufacturing Concern. Its primary products were Sodium Hydrosulfite, Sodium Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate and Zinc Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate. Royce has remained in the production of Reductive Chemicals for over 70 years.
