The Rowan Tree Restaurant is situated in the small Highland Village of Ballater, 40 miles west of Aberdeen. Ballater is a beautiful village set among the hills and trees of Royal Deside just down the road from the Queens summer holiday home, Balmoral.
The village itself is a haven for tourists as it is a great place to break up a journey and there is plenty activities in the surrounding area from walking to quad biking,fishing or in the winter ski-ing.
The Rowan Tree prides itself in Home Baking and Home Cooking with fresh cakes and scones every day. There is also a daily specials board with a special main course, sweet and different cakes daily.
