Description
The Rosscarbery Web Site Committee was set up in November 2001 at a meeting called by the Family Festival Committee to bring together the town's various community groups and organisations. At that time it was determined that the town could benefit from having its own website.
A committee was formed with Cal Hyland, Ann Donnelly O'Mahony, Brian O'Mahony and Conor O'Callaghan working together to design and get the site online. The site was launched at the opening of the Arts and Literature Weekend on May 10th 2002.
The website not only promotes the various tourist attractions and amenities that the town offers, but also provide a means of communication for the various community groups and organisations.
